When your DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter) becomes blocked, you might assume it needs replacing—as is the case for most filters on your car. However, the cost of a new DPF runs into the hundreds or thousands of pounds. Fortunately, besides being expensive, DPF's are also made of sturdy materials that can withstand intensive cleaning.
Do we clean DPFs in situ?

Our workshop has a dedicated Carbon Clean machine (pictured) and we are blown away by the results. This machine can often remove 100% of carbon deposits from your DPF, including ash that can't be burned off in a regen.
At our garages, we don't offer to 'flush' your DPF in situ. This is a cheap alternative DPF cleaning service you might see offered by some garages. When I asked one of our technicians if we could do a DPF 'flush', he simply replied, "No. We do it properly."
Our DPF cleaning service is exclusively off-car. The DPF is removed from your vehicle and thoroughly cleaned on our Carbon Clean machine before refitting. This will keep your DPF sparkling clean and performing to spec for longer.
